Channel, Partner and Alliance Marketing Leader (Cyber Security)

Our Client, a global provider of Cyber Security solutions, is seeking a mature and experienced Marketing Manager, to lead the channels and alliances marketing activities in EMEA.

In this role, you will support the re-seller channels, technology partners and other companies in the ecosystem, working to ensure that the partners are enabled and programmed to deliver the best results possible. You will grow the global business by delivering various marketing programs to and through the partners, including joint campaigns and events. You will create and deliver integrated marketing plans working alongside the Sales, Business Development, and Field Marketing Teams.

The Channel, Partner and Alliance Marketing Leader is responsible for designing and executing channel and partner marketing programs, enablement assets, demand generation campaigns, and associated communications. You will position the partnership value propositions and help promote channel and partner driven sales growth across a breadth of channel and alliance partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, drive and implement channel and partner marketing activity
  • Develop and oversee the marketing plan for channels and partners
  • Implement channel and partner marketing campaigns in order to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets
  • Work closely with all aspects of the business to gather channel and partner insights
  • Work closely with sales and corporate and field marketing teams in support of channel and partner marketing
  • Understand changing and differing priorities depending on territories and how these impact channel marketing
  • Support enablement of the channels and partners via relevant campaigns, including webinars, enablement, and events
  • Support delivery of partner conferences and forums
  • Ensure that the partners are aware of and using the full range of tools and materials available to them via the Partner Portal
  • Keep track of core partner metrics and provide feedback
  • Help drive partner deal registrations and work with sales team to effectively follow-up, build campaigns as needed to help pipeline to close
  • Work effectively as part of the Marketing team, contributing to overall team success
  • Work with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Support to develop channel and partner tool kits
  • Manage assigned programs, partner communications, and initiatives. This includes capturing, vetting, evaluating, prioritizing, and scheduling requests as well as progress and results reporting to ensure that all tasks and milestones are met
  • Perform other partner related duties and projects as assigned

 

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have had a track record of success in the development and execution of global channel and partner marketing campaigns and programs.
  • 3+ years previous experience working in a full-time, fully dedicated channel, partner, and alliance marketing role
  • Past experience managing partner marketing programs
  • A strong understanding of the channels, partnerships, and alliances in enterprise IT, preferably in IT and network security
  • Experience marketing business-to-business solutions through indirect channels in a technology company
  • Experience executing marketing campaigns using digital marketing campaigns, webinars, events and more
  • Experience in creation of partner and channel marketing plans
  • Affinity for building relationships with partners
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and marketing automation systems such as Marketo
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT Security Market is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment with employees and partners globally at all levels
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with strong project management skills, with ability to track and follow up on actions
  • Highly motivated, proactive and self-starter with the ability to focus in a world of changing priorities, and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
