Commercial Account Manager – Canada (Cyber Security)

Our Client, a global provider of Cyber Security solutions, is seeking a mature and experienced Sales professional to drive the sales for mid-market customers (up to 1.5B) in Canada. A successful candidate should have experience in selling software solutions remotely.

This is a home office position, reporting to the Commercial Sales Director.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell the company’s products and services to new logo & existing customers in the mid enterprise market
  • Proactively generate business in target commercial accounts under <$1.5B
  • Accountable for sales activities such as net new pipeline creation, cold calling appointments, marketing leads, and customer demos
  • Manage book of business within existing active Commercial accounts
  • Maintain relationship with regional counterpart on the same team
  • Follow up on leads and referrals
  • Identify decision makers needed to start sales process
  • Create and maintain local/national Value-Added Reseller relationships
  • Develop and foster vendor relationships
  • Expand the database of contacts within targeted organizations
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity detail in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts

 

Requirements:

  • Prior sales experience at B2B Company
  • Experience in Software/Security company is a big advantage
  • Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, time management skills
  • Self-motivated and independent worker. Ability to prioritize and think out-of-the-box
  • Competitive team player (Individual attainment is part of a larger, regional attainment goal)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple functions (e.g., Direct Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales, etc.)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • French speaking skills is a bonus
  • Experience with CRM and marketing systems (Salesforce.com, marketo) is a big advantage
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business-related field
