Our client is an Eco-Friendly Wastewater Intelligence SaaS Startup.

Its mission driven passion is to make a positive impact on people’s lives and the environment by preserving one of the most important resources in the world: water. The wastewater intelligence platform is designed to help water utilities & health departments effectively manage their wastewater quality, efficiency of utilities, environmental health and sustainable ways of life through artificial intelligence and real time data analytics with clear insights. The solution enables to detect events in the network, track the source and make an impact on the wastewater network showcased in a dashboard in real-time.

The company is searching for an experienced sales professional, to drive the sales in a defined territory in US.

 

Responsibilities

  • To lead the sales efforts in the area, reach and exceed sales targets and drive sales growth
  • Selling to existing install base and creating new business
  • Overseeing the entire sales process from the initial interest to holding discovery calls, and closing the deals
  • Identify potential new sales channels and enable them to sell to potential customers & partners

 

Requirements

  • Extensive sales experience in the Wastewater market segment
  • Existing relationships in the Digital water Industry or with city/government officials specifically in wastewater/environmental technology
  • SaaS / Smart water experience – advantage
  • Consultative selling and experience in both direct and indirect sales
  • Existing relationship in Digital water Industry / Environmental technology – advantage
  • Proven track record in consistently meeting and overachieving sales quotas & demonstrating YoY growth
  • Ability to work autonomously in a complex sales environment
  • Strong focus on new customers and maximizing revenue
  • Strong presentation & negotiation skills
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Business or Environmental studies & earth science is preferred
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
