Our client is the market leader in large-scale 3D printing systems for a range of industries, including automotive, marine, rail, architecture, and entertainment. Leveraging its proprietary technology, the company’s solutions enable rapid and cost-effective production of large models, parts, and molds.

The company is seeking a new GM for North America, to lead a multifunctional team of Sales, Applications and Service professionals. The role has P&L responsibilities and signatory rights on behalf of the company.

The ideal candidate for this role must have background in 3D printing, very strong sales experience and leadership capabilities.

The company office is in Atlanta. The GM should visit the office frequently but doesn’t have to live in the area. The role is reporting to the Global VP Sales.

 

Responsibilities

  • P&L
  • Leading and overseeing all aspects of operations in the region
  • Developing and executing strategic plans for business growth
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring operational excellence and efficiency on a day-to-day basis
  • Leading, motivating, and mentoring a high-performing team
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Recruiting, training, and developing talent within the team
  • Identifying market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities
  • Implementing process improvements and cost-effective measures
  • Maximizing revenue and minimizing costs through strategic financial management

 

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in the 3D printing industry, with a track record of sales achievements
  • Strong understanding of the North America market and industry trends
  • Ability to work in a start-up environment, flexible to overcome time zone difference, in fast growing dynamic company
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven success in driving sales and achieving revenue targets
  • Experience in selling capital equipment / industrial printers in high tag price
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution to achieve business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team
  • Track record of cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Knowledge of operational management to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Financial acumen, experienced in budget management
  • Ability to identify market trends, competitive threats and growth opportunities
  • Proactive approach to challenges
