Sales & Account Manager DACH (Fintec)

Our Client is a leading global provider of Fintec technologies for corporates and Financial institutions. A respected market pioneer for over thirty years, the Company delivers an integrated portfolio of trade finance, supply chain finance and treasury solutions, streamlining the transaction lifecycle to enhance operational efficiency, mitigate risk and maximize profit. With a global network of seven development and support centers in the US, Argentina, Chile, the UK, Germany, Israel and Singapore, our Client serves a prestigious customer base in over eighty countries across five continents.

The person in this role is responsible for expanding the business with new and existing clients in the DACH region. This is an IC role – no people management responsibilities – reporting to the Global VP of Account Management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to customers’ concerns and needs
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts, establish relationships with key decision-makers and nurture long-term partnerships
  • Develop and execute a strategic sale and account management plan to achieve targets and expand market share in the DACH region
  • Actively seek and close new business opportunities in the territory
  • Manage and control the end-to-end sales process through lead qualification, proposal creation and contract negotiation
  • Work with pre-sales, delivery and product management colleagues to understand customer business and IT needs and offer appropriate solutions
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional conferences
  • Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for the defined geography and accounts
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates for management review

 

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in selling software and SaaS within Financial Services sector
  • Proven track record of success in sales, account management and business development
  • Strong understanding of the DACH market with existing relationships and networks in the region
  • Experience in fintech and/or corporate treasury solutions
  • Experience in selling financial solutions to Corporates
  • Experience with long sales cycles: 6-18 months
  • Ability to travel
