Project Manager (Fintec)

The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager, with extensive experience in the environment of software development / software delivery.
In this role, you will lead challenging agile software projects as a central planner and coordinator through all phases, collaborating with different departments and external contact partners.
The role is performed in a global environment. Customers and employees can be anywhere.
This is a home office position in Europe, reporting to the Global Delivery Director.
Responsibilities
- Leading an Agile team
- Direct management of 8-12 employees
- Responsibility for several projects in parallel, delivering Fintec solutions
- Accountability of practicing agile values, methods, principles and practices for the delivery of projects
- Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value
- Interact with company clients and understanding their requirements
- Continuously monitoring the daily progress of projects and their quality – from initiation to take-over to ongoing operations
Requirements
- Relevant experience in software Delivery / Development projects
- People management (direct and matrix)
- Fluent in English, German – advantage
- Willingness to travel (about 10%)
- Understanding software development life cycle models
- Project Management Professional PMI PMP/ PMI ACP /PRINCE II certification – advantage
- Experience in agile practices using Scrum/Kanban/ SAFe – advantage
- Experience in Fintec / Financial Services / Banking – advantage
