Sales & Account Manager India
Our Client is developing the next generation of high-performance e-powertrain systems that will change the electric vehicles market. India is one of the key markets for the technology and the company is expanding the local team.
The role is reporting to the India Country Manager.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in electric 2W, 3W and 4W market segments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, dealers, and distributors.
- Collaborate with finance, operations and technical teams, to understand product specifications and effectively communicate them to potential clients.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and proactive sales initiatives.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and market dynamics.
Requirements
- Engineering background- must have
- Relevant experience in sales and account management, preferably in the automotive or electrification industry.
- Proven track record in successful B2B sales of complex multidisciplinary systems.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships.
- Familiarity with motors, Motor controllers in 2W/3W/4W industry.
- Understanding of 2W, 3W and 4W (e-LCV) markets in India, with a focus on motor controllers.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proactive, results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Self-motivated, hard-working, and able to work independently with a strong sales drive.
- Fast learner, good interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English and local languages as applicable.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
