We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Account Manager, to lead customer engagement, serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, and drive business growth across enterprise banking clients in the APAC region.

You will be responsible for building and strengthening long-term relationships with large-scale banking customers, including C-level executives, and for identifying new business opportunities.

This role requires a highly driven and energetic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is eager to make a strong impact within a growing technology company.

This is a Hybrid role, reporting to the Head of Commercial APAC (based in Singapore).

Travel is up to 50% (primarily across Asia).

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for enterprise banking customers across Asia, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships as a trusted advisor to achieve sustainable partnerships with existing accounts.
  • Manage the full account and sales cycle: lead qualification, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Identify new business opportunities within your territory and drive expansion with large global and regional banks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (solution consultants, delivery, product management) to tailor solutions and ensure customer success.
  • Provide ongoing input from customers to product and delivery teams to enhance offerings.
  • Maintain accurate account management data and forecasts for management.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan aligned with company goals.
  • Represent the company at international conferences and industry events.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and market dynamics.

 

 

Requirements

  • Experience in account management or sales within financial technology, transaction banking, payments, or cash management.
  • Strong background working with enterprise banking clients on long-term, complex deals.
  • Experience gained either from global fintech providers or from within banks’ corporate banking divisions.
  • Proven ability to navigate global organizations and manage senior-level relationships.
  • Familiarity with transaction banking solutions and enterprise financial systems is an advantage.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and target-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in presenting and writing proposals, including responding to RFPs.
  • Skilled in selling high-value solutions.
  • Ability to engage internal partners (marketing, solution consultant, finance, etc.) throughout the sales cycle.
