We are looking for an experienced Fintech software sales leader to join the team as a Sales Director based in Singapore. This is a pure sales role focused on selling to financial institutions across the APAC region, with a strong emphasis on building long-term relationships and driving revenue growth through deep domain expertise in Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Supply Chain flows, and Transaction Banking.

This is a Hybrid role, reporting to the Head of Commercial APAC (based in Singapore).

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle enterprise sales processes from prospecting to contract, including complex multi-stakeholder negotiations.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with banks and financial institutions across APAC.
  • Develop account strategies and drive cross-sell opportunities across the product suite.
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact for key accounts, overseeing customer success and renewals.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop go-to-market plans tailored to the region.
  • Represent the company in industry events and maintain competitive market intelligence.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal) to ensure successful delivery and growth.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene.

Requirements

  • Extensive sales experience in fintech, SaaS, banking technology, transaction banking, payments, loans, or enterprise software.
  • Proven track record of selling to banks and financial institutions, with a focus on long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience with the Japanese banks in Singapore.
  • Familiarity with as many as the following domains: Trade Finance / Supply Chain Finance / Supply Chain flows / Transaction Banking / Cash Management / Treasury / Payments and Loans / Core Banking systems.
  • Background in commercial account management, client retention, and upselling.
  • Knowledge of procurement cycles, RFPs, and vendor approval processes in banks.
  • Familiarity with APAC banking market dynamics.
  • Experience working in a multi-national and matrixed environment.
  • Exposure to cloud-based platforms and digital transformation in banking – advantage
  • Experience with Trade Finance platforms – advantage
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
