The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting all stages of the sales cycle. This position is essential to the sales activities. This role executes the sales operations activities from request for quote through order entry and account receivables. The Sales Operations Specialist has direct contact with customers’ commercial requests to ensure all requests are entered correctly in the system and on time delivery to meet customer requirements.

This position is reporting to the Director of Sales and working with another Sales Operation Specialist.

The position is hybrid – 2 days from home, 3 days from the office at Viernheim, Germany.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support commercial, logistic and customer-oriented assignments
  • Primary customer contact for order processing from the order entry stage to the invoice issuing stage, in accordance with revenue recognition rules
  • Coordinate and executed overall delivery of materials and resources according to customer contracts including special document requirements and customized solutions
  • Responsible for effective support and resolution of customer issues, while assuring customer satisfaction
  • Worked closely with Finance and Production to manage requested delivery dates
  • Responsible for the CRM data of the team’s accounts, forecasting, planning and processes used within sales organization
  • RMA orders handling (in coordination with RMA team)
  • Customers’ focal point for end-to-end order fulfillment processes
  • Plan and follow up of product deliveries.
  • Lead Follow Up and Quoting
  • Invoicing & Collections

 

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a customer service-oriented position – must
  • Experience with CRM and Business Systems – advantage
  • Proficient in Salesforce – an advantage
  • Previous acquaintance with Priority – an advantage
  • Computer Skills (word, excel, file naming and storage) – a must
  • Advanced Excel skills – an advantage
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree- an advantage
