Our client, a leading provider of IoT connectivity technology, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and grow our sales efforts.

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a team of sales professionals and driving revenue growth.

The current team consists of 2 sales managers and there are growth plans for the future. It is a Player – Coach model: The Sales Director also has a personal quota.

This is a fully remote role, reporting to the regional VP.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Identify new market opportunities and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise customers
  • Present, promote and sell IoT and Enterprise Mobility data connectivity solutions
  • Understand customer needs, challenges and pain points to tailor solutions accordingly
  • Close strategic deals and manage the sales pipeline effectively
  • Recruit, train, mentor and manage a high-performing sales team
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, to ensure alignment and maximize customer value
  • Provide market feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies

 

Requirements

  • Extensive experience and proven track record of success in B2B enterprise sales
  • Cellular / Wireless, IOT or related tech sectors background are preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in sales leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level sales processes and strategies.
  • Exceptional business acumen that demonstrates the ability to build business relationships to drive initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
